Through Suffering to Grace

Valerie Ann Hart, a retired Episcopal priest and Third Order Franciscan, received a PhD in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. After fifteen years as a college professor and licensed psychologist, she attained a Master of Divinity degree at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific and was ordained in San Francisco. Her ministry included serving as the vicar of a mission in the Bay Area and the rector of a parish on the central coast of California. A mother of three and grandmother of five, Valerie Hart currently lives and writes in Orange County CA.
